We’re excited to be part of the newest Isle of Wight event next year – The Isle of Wight Festival of Running. Born out of the legendary Needles XC Half Marathon the event will be over 3 days and will incorporate the new Needles Marathon as well as a 5 K and 10 K fun run, Childrens fun runs and the all new Spyvelo Long Weekend which will see athletes taking part in a a half ironman distance event over three days. Also included will be a weekend membership to West Wight Sports & Community Centre and a big screen showing of ‘Chariots of Fire’. The headline event remains the Needles XC Half which will be on the Sunday and is arguably one of the most challeging and half marathons in the country.
